Combating Violence in Schools

Recently, violent episodes in schools have been widely publicized. But such violence has a long history. This violence comes mainly from students, but also from irate parents. Many teachers and principals have been attacked, beaten, and, in some cases, shot.

The great damage from violence in your school can, to a large extent, be avoided if your people know how to recognize the potentially violent student, and if violence does threaten, how to defuse a possible volatile situation. The program Combating Violence in Schools will give your people the information they need. The following points are covered in the one-hour program:

1. How to recognize the potentially violent student.
2. How to handle a situation that could escalate into violence inside your school or on campus.
3. How to handle a possibly violent individual out on the street. (e.g. he finds you out shopping.)

This information could save the life of anyone who hears the program. Please take the time now to schedule this program for the safety and well-being of the people that work with you.
